I am committed to protecting your privacy. By using this website, you are giving me permission to collect information for the purpose of providing my services. I will only use the information that I collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

I obtain information about you when you use the Dogsense website (www.dogtrainingscotland.com), for example, when you contact me about my services. Also, should you book either classes or 1:1 training, I shall request you to fill in a terms & conditions form, which will require you to give more information. Or finally should you wish to book via phone call / text message / messenger service, I will obtain your information that way.
What type of information is collected from you?
The personal information I collect might include any information that you provide by filling in forms on my site. This includes provided information at the time of registering to use my site, posting material, requesting further services or subscribing to any service offered by me on the site. I might also request further information and if you should report a problem with the site. I may keep a record of any correspondence if you should contact me. Also, your IP address maybe collected.

The only time your information will be shared is with your vet for the wellbeing of your dog, a request under Pet insurance policy or for lawful purposes.

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from me. If you do not want to receive direct communications from me then you can select your choices by requesting in writing/email. I will not contact you for marketing purposes by, phone, email or text message unless you have given your prior consent. I will not contact you for marketing purposes by post. I only keep your data on file for any future bookings, unless you request me to delete it, which you can at any time. In which case I will only keep a record of any relevant bookkeeping records for up to 6 years as required by HMRC, such as your invoices and receipts.

Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information
When you give me personal information, I take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely these include up to date anti-virus software, also information provided is kept securely either on a password locked computer, that only I have access to.
Non-sensitive details (your email address etc.) are transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while I strive to protect your personal information, I cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to me, and you do so at your own risk. All paper information, such as signed T&Cs are stored in a locked fireproof cabinet.

I may analyse your personal information to create a profile of your interests and preferences so that I can contact you with information relevant to you.
